How to defeat the deceitful Satan
If we are to defeat the deceitful Satan, let us remember how we are to fight against him
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with righteousness, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, 16 and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one; 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
2 Corinthians 6:7 In the word of truth, in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left;
2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk according to the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the pulling down of arguments, 5 to the pulling down of every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Our Lord Jesus was able to overcome the temptations of Satan (Luke 4:13, Hebrews 4:15, 12:3), because, having fought against him with the whole armor of God, He did not allow the spirit of the evil one to enter into Him (John 14:30).
1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
