Daniel 7:24. The ten horns represent ten kings who will arise from this kingdom. After them, another will arise who will be different from the first and will subdue three kings.

The final phase of the last kingdom described in Daniel chapter 7 is depicted in the Book of Revelation. This book also speaks of a final war, and it is interesting to note that the symbolic city appearing there consists of three parts. Thus, there are three distinct kings ruling over three distinct symbolic sections of the city of Great Babylon. Presumably:

1. the Christian world

2. the Muslim world

3. the Hindu-Buddhist world

Revelation 16:19 And the great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And God remembered Great Babylon, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were nowhere to be found.

Damage of such magnitude could only be caused by God, by a nuclear war, or by both.

The "little horn" (Daniel 7:7, 8) that emerges on the political scene—the last of the ten kings—is the anti-God Antichrist. It humiliates the realm of faith and triumphs over three parts of the world: the Christian world, the Muslim world, and the Hindu-Buddhist world.

Revelation 17:9-13. Here is the mind that has wisdom. – The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. And there are seven kings: five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he comes, he must remain for a short time. The beast that was and is not is himself the eighth king, and is of the seven, and goes to destruction. The ten horns you saw represent ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast. They all have one purpose, and they give their strength and power to the beast.

The sequence of the presumed geopolitical new world order:

1. In the first phase, under the UN, the world coalesces into seven political unions of continental scale, led by seven kings—meaning each political union (head) is led by a king (horn). This is why the beast (the UN) has seven heads. This is where the first seven kings (horns) appear.

2. In the second phase, these seven geopolitical regions divide (or consolidate) into three parts, with one king for each part. This is where the final three kings (horns) appear. That is why the beast has seven heads and ten horns, and why Great Babylon—in a spiritual sense—consists of three parts.

In the third phase, the final world war breaks out. A small horn on one of the seven heads—which leads the smallest head (hence the name "little horn," presumably the European Union)—defeats all three of its adversaries and completely cuts off—that is, subjugates—one of the heads (presumably the Russian Federation).

How devastating would a third world war be?
